Introducing the Basic Singles Club!
 Coming in August 2010. Reverb Records will be releasing a monthly digital-only 7” single from the Belfast based artist Basic with both an A and B side for your wonderful consumption. These will initially be available exclusively through Apple’s iTunes at the first of every month.
The singles are a sort of a clearout and update straight from the Basic archives, with some magic new material sprinkled about for good measure. Keep an eye out for some special appearances from some featured vocalists. You will likely be surprised at who shows up.

The new Upsidedown Album
 The Upsidedown have headed back home to Reverb Records for their forthcoming album “The Town With Bad Wiring.” The album will be released in September 2010 and features 12 of the band’s best recordings ever. Seriously. Guests on the album include Colin Hegra from Brian Jonestown Massacre, Peter Holstrom from The Dandy Warhols and Peter Buck from R.E.M., among others. The album was recorded in Portland over the past year.

Fuzzy Ball submissions
 Yes, we’re doing it again! The semi-irregular-somewhat-yearly Shoegazer’s Ball, which celebrates our favorite genre of music will happen again this year in December 2010. We’re currently accepting submissions for tracks and bands to play at the events, which will again take place in Seattle and Portland. Get in touch quick if you’re interested.

The Upsidedown on HBO’s True Blood
HBO have asked The Upsidedown for the use of their carefully crafted made-for-tv song "Wolf Blood Honey" for their vampirey show True Blood. The band have obliged. The exclusive track is an adaptation of a song from their forthcoming album “The Town With Bad Wiring” coming soon on Reverb Records. You can get the advance song now HERE
THE UPSIDEDOWN ON TOUR
The Upsidedown are hitting the road in advance of the release of their new album. They'll be selling brand new Digital Download EPs with fancy new T-shirts with some sample tracks from their forthcoming album on Reverb entitled "The Town With Bad Wiring." The download cards have to be seen to be believed - they're made from biodegradable cards with Wildflower seeds embedded in them, so once you download the new tracks, you can plant the card to grow Wildflowers!
